About me
I’ve worked as a data analyst, management consultant, real estate salesperson, and digital marketer. In all these roles, my focus has been on understanding my clients’ distinctive needs and desires. I’ve made the mistake early on in selling real estate of pushing my client towards a specific neighborhood and home that I thought was great and met their price range. But I wasn’t really listening to what was import to them. They had different priorities and desires. I had to understand that it was about finding the right fit for them. With what aligned with their preferences, requirements and personality.
Data science is a tool I use to solve business problems. In graduate school one of my professors said, “you guys chose a difficult field because you will always have to keep learning.” Technology, the tool, the languages will keep changing. I had to learn how to learn but thankfully I enjoy the challenge.

Customer Analytics and Enterprise Insights Data Analyst
- Worked directly with VP of Digital Marketing of restaurant and gaming chain with $1.3 billion in revenue to launch customer segmentation strategy and cross channel targeted offers resulting in 11% revenue lift above control group.
- Data mining and data engineering to create data sets that for integrated customer view by processing billions of rows from disparate sources including Azure data lake big data ecosystem and SQL Server database using R, Scala and SQL.
- Created predictive models in R, Python, Azure ML to identify key drivers of customers returning and implemented campaign that drove 30-day return rates to increase 2%.
